Teaching Methods
The Certificate in Stock Investment Fundamentals employs a holistic, diverse, and flexible teaching approach to ensure students achieve the intended learning outcomes. Through a combination of interactive lectures, tutorials, case studies, simulations, role-playing, and group projects, the program adapts to the needs of each topic and learner. Instruction is delivered via lectures and seminars, where lecturers serve not only as knowledge providers but also as facilitators, encouraging active participation through class discussions, case analyses, presentations, and collaborative activities. Admission Requirements
1.Completion of Form 5 (HKCEE) or Form 6 (HKDSE), or an equivalent qualification; or
2.Applicants aged 21 or above with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Examination and Graduation Requirements
No interim certification is offered for this course. To be awarded the certificate, students must successfully complete and pass all three modules, while maintaining a minimum attendance rate of 75% or higher for each module.

Mr. Tsang Chi-Ying
With over two decades of experience in the financial and media industries, Mr. Tsang, affectionately known as "Sir Tsang," has held various roles, including financial translator, reporter, editor, and editorial director at prominent publications such as Financial Daily, Ming Pao, Sing Tao Daily, and Oriental Daily. Transitioning to electronic media, he has hosted financial programs on Commercial Radio and Cable TV, and gained popularity for his show "Sir Tsang 28" on ATV and NOW 538. Leveraging his extensive network within the financial sector, Mr. Tsang is renowned for his ability to anticipate market trends and corporate developments. He has also shared his expertise as a lecturer at institutions like Chu Hai College, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, and Hong Kong Baptist University, specializing in financial journalism. Additionally, he contributes financial columns to Sing Tao Daily, Economic Digest, and Metro Daily.
Mr. Anthony Lam
Mr. Lam holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Liverpool, UK. Since 1998, he has been with Emperor Securities (Hong Kong) Limited, where he currently serves as Vice President of Research. With extensive experience in investment, he is well-versed in the securities industry and possesses deep insights into real estate investment. Beyond his professional role, Mr. Lam writes financial columns for Oriental Daily, New Paper, and Economic Weekly, and appears as a guest host on NOW Finance Channel and TVB Wealth Forum.
Mr. Freeman Chan
Mr. Chan holds dual master’s degrees in finance and information technology, along with bachelor’s degrees in business administration, management, and Chinese law. Since 1988, he has taught finance and management courses at numerous local and international institutions, including the University of Hong Kong’s School of Professional and Continuing Education, Metropolitan University, Heriot-Watt University (UK), and Curtin University (Australia). He has also lectured at the Hong Kong Securities Institute and the Hong Kong Institute of Financial Management. In addition to his academic contributions, Mr. Chan has conducted training programs for banks and large corporations. His expertise has been featured in prominent media outlets, including ATV’s Money World and Next Magazine.
